Carol Sewell & Company was founded in 1996 by Carol Sewell, the Managing Partner. She has been a practicing Attorney since November 1993 and has developed a professional and enterprising practice assisted by Juniour Counsel.
Carol Sewell holds a B.A (Hons.), L.L.B ( Hons.) and an L.L.M ( Corporate and Commercial) from the University of the West Indies.
The firm also employs two efficient and experienced Paralegals and a Legal Clerk.

Ms Sewell is the former President of the Jamaica Hockey Federation a sport dedicated to the Administration of field Hockey in Jamaica. She was also President of Woman Inc. a non profit organization which assists survivors of domestic violence, rape, incest and helps with the housing of women in a shelter.The group also advocates for policy and legislation for women who are the survivors of sexual abuse. Ms Sewell was appointed as a member of the Judicial Commission of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) in October 2023
